The City of Springfield, Public Works Streets Department announces the following construction activity or activities that will require LANE CLOSURES: The Streets Department will be working at the following locations; weather permitting, with work beginning on 05/22/2013 7:00 PM until 05/24/2013 12:00 PM starting at Glenstone Avenue in the 1800 to 2000 block of East Battlefield to Luster Ave. The inside east bound lane and the west bound outside lanes on Battlefield will be closed until work is completed. The two eastbound thru lanes of Division Street between Boonville Ave and Robberson Ave will be closed beginning at 10 pm this evening (June 7, 2012) to allow AT AND T to work within a manhole within Division Street. Motorists are advised to use the marked detour via Boonville Ave, Court St, and Robberson Ave. The eastbound lanes of Division Street will be reopened to traffic by 5:00 am on Friday, June 8, 2012.
